On Saturday, December 4, 2010, the Los Niños Hispanic Guild of Children's Hospital will hold its first annual "A Season of Lights" A Tree Celebration with Los Niños -Tree & Silent Auction, Dinner and Awards Program at The Grand 1401. The event will benefit the Hospital's
Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Endowment.
Funds from our event will
go to Children’s Hospital to provide comprehensive, child-focused services and
resources, and to coordinate law enforcement, child protection professionals
and other community partners handling child abuse cases. Prevention is
encouraged through outreach activities, from educating high school
students on the dangers of violently shaking an infant, to meeting with
community organizations.
