In an effort to sell hundreds of cookbook to raise money. Members worked our booth at the Fresno Home Show November 6, 7, 8.



We will also have cookbook stands at different
Save Mart Stores all over Fresno both on
November 7 and 8 from noon till 4pm.
    
The commitment of the Guild doesn't stop there, with the help of KYNO 1300AM Live Radio and sister station KJEWEL 99.3FM we are also promoting our first Annual Dining for Dollars. You eat and we receive a donation, please see the Dining for Dollar web page.

All these efforts will help the Guild's efforts on raising money for Children's Hospital Central California.

Social Mixer offers a fun Night 
The Social mixer gave people the opportunity to learn about our guild, what we do, and to see if they may want to join or contribute. Many raffle items that ranged from movie passes to car care, women's fashions to bottles of wine were among the night fun. Proceeds from the raffle went to raise money for the pink pig fund. The pink pig fund is used to help buy specialty items for the hospital. There was also Wine tasting and plenty of food from Sal's Mexican Restaurant. It all started with the introduction to the Los Niños Hispanic Guild.

Guild sets up at Women's Conference

The Los Niños Hispanic Guild had great success at the 2009 Woman's Conference.

Here we sold our Cookbook, invited those interested to join us at our social along with encouraging membership and financial support.


Special thanks go out to David Ruiz and Elena Romero for printing and delivering items, Tania Gomez for getting us needed membership items, Mary Beth Cabrera for set up and Sonja Roberts, Jesse Rodriguez, Carol Logan, Ronald G. Flores for working the booth.

Los Niños Hispanic Guild Members

The Ruiz family, which operates Ruiz Foods, donated $1 million to Children’s Hospital Central California. In honor of their gift and long- standing support, the new eight-bed expansion of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit will be   named “The Ruiz Family Pediatric Intensive   Care North.”
